Using the evidence-based “4-M’s” model – What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility- attendees will learn how to drive a hospital-wide transformation that addresses the unique needs of older adults.

Rita A. Stockman, RN, MS, BSN, CSSBB, CHSP, CPHQ, is a registered nurse, healthcare executive, safety leader, and system director of quality at Bon Secours Mercy Health. Before BSMH she was an Associate Vice President at UC Health, Cincinnati, and system director for accreditation and regulatory services at Trinity Health. Her record of success includes roles in Catholic Health systems and academic medical centers. Rita is a registered nurse. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. Rita has achieved nationally recognized certifications in healthcare quality and safety and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. Rita is chair of the Michigan Safety Conference Healthcare Division, 2025- 2026 and Past President of the Michigan Health Care Safety Association.
