In healthcare and other regulated industries, maintaining a clear delineation between compliance, risk management, quality/patient safety, and the in-house legal department is crucial. While these functions serve distinct purposes, their collaboration is essential to ensure a holistic and effective approach to organizational integrity and patient care.
While separation is essential from a legal and regulatory standpoint, collaboration among these departments is crucial for organizational integrity. Effective communication ensures that compliance, risk management, and legal strategies are aligned with operational and safety priorities, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
Join Julie Janeway, MSA, JD and Linda Weirauch, MSN, RN, CPHQ on Thursday, December 5 at 12 PM ET to share in a lively and interactive discussion about the importance of not only separating these roles, but also best practices and tools to ensure your own organization is compliant.
